I am a 25 year old male and for the last 10-15 years I’ve had severe dryness under my eyes (my lower eye lids) to the point where they flake really badly. I’ve tried just about every kind of super-mega moisturizer on the market and in the morning, it’s back to the way it was. I’ve use over the counter meds recommended by doctors for months and after stopping for one night, it’s already back. Nothing is working and i’m reaaaaaally wanting a solution. All doctors I’ve gone to say I just need to scrub when in the shower which is just a dumb answer. I know this isn’t normal so does anybody have any special moisturizers they trust? I also have really bad dark circles under my eyes so if I don’t use something every morning, I seriously look like the undead. If somebody could recommend some great get-rid-of-dark-circles + skin moisturizing and repairing cream safe for the eye area, I’d greatly appreciate it. All skin sections in stores and websites seem to me all based on woman’s anti-aging…
I’m a guy and in serious need of help. PLZ recommend me something that will help!
Doctor 1 recommended: Hydrocortisone cream 2.5%
Doctor 2 recommended: Erythromycin ointment
Doctor 3 recommended: scubbing harder during shower >_<
Honestly, I know it sounds simple. Try using olive oil on your face. I do and it works really well.

Anti aging products for around the eyes and the rest of the face…
Also what brands offer the best anti aging products ?
Thanks in advance =)
Just wanted to know what the average age is for using these types of products.
Im 23 yrs old
I think around 30 . I am 31 and started getting Glycolic peels when I was 28 and my dermatologist told me you can start taking extra care of your skin in your late twenties. I guess u can use peels and micro derma – abrasion at this age.
Some products are quite harsh and have to be used only in 40s. Its better to check the packaging carefully to check if the age is written before buying.

I am sick and tired of guessing with so many differant creams on the market each of them saying the same thing. I wish there was a good consumers guide just stating the top 10 products.
Oil Of Olay is good and HSN.com,Signature Club A by Adriean is even better and if you buy her specials, you get a lot and she has an over 40 line with a lot of vitamin C!

I think I read somewhere that people shouldn’t waste their money buying anti-aging eye cream and to just use your facial moisturizer on their eyes too. Is this true? I know the skin around the eyes is different than the skin on the rest of my face. So does it need it’s own treatment?
Your eyes are very sensitive and certain chemicals will damage your eye. Most of your facial beauty prods. say avoid the eye area. If so wash out asap with cold water. I would advice to stick with using specific prods. for the eyes and not chance your eye sight saving a few bucks here and there by using your face moisturizer instead.
If you use your ring finger instead it’s been said that it’s the best one as you put less pressure around your eye compared to your other fingers. and apply inward instead of outward. Less wrinkles to form.

Ok so here are my questions and I’m sorry if it’s long. As I said I’m 26 years old with fair skin I had really really bad acne when I was a teenager until I got proactive (yes it’s a cliché but it really did save my skin) and I’m still using it today because even though I still have minor acne scars that I would love to get rid of, for the most part it keeps my skin under control….a while back I started seeing lines on my forehead and just recently I noticed a broken blood vessel on my cheek. Even though I’m ok with the proactive my skin looks dull and I would really love to find an inexpensive (something I could pick up at target) product that will help my skin look better as well as help with the lines….the problem is now that I’m getting older I have combination skin so I’m dry around my forehead but oily on my nose I’ve tried a few things (the cost of which have been high and their now sitting in my medicine cabinet) but most of the anti aging stuff doesn’t absorb into my skin and when it does I break out…so I ask again can anyone recommend anything so I don’t have to start picking random products off the shelves and wasting more money.
Olay skin care great for acne and fine lines.
